Dade-Monroe Express Bus

The Dade-Monroe Express provides a convenient commuter bus connection between mainland Miami-Dade County and the Florida Keys, serving commuters traveling to hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other key employment destinations. The coach-style buses offer comfortable seating, generous legroom, and onboard amenities such as Wi-Fi to help make the commute more productive and relaxing.

Riders traveling farther south can transfer to the Lower Keys Shuttle  for continued service through the Lower Keys to Key West. The Dade-Monroe Express begins at the SW 344th Street (Transitway) Park & Ride in Florida City and includes stops in Key Largo (Mile Marker 98), Tavernier (Mile Marker 87), Islamorada (Mile Marker 74), and Marathon (Mile Marker 50).

Purchase Passes

Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) commutes can purchase transit passes through the SoFloGo App, the Token Transit app (available in the Apple App Store and for Android on Google Play, Transit app (available in the Apple App Store and for Android on Google Play, Google Wallet / Maps (Android only) and Moovit. Commuters can also purchase mobile passes via the GO Miami-Dade Transit app, pre-load their registered EASY Card online via Miami Dade Transit’s online store or visit an EASY card location. Commuters can pay on the bus with cash, a loaded EASY Card, EASY Ticket, mobile passes, digital wallets (such as Apple Pay, Google Wallet, Samsung Pay, and Fitbit Pay), and contactless-enabled credit or debit (bank) cards.
